Yintab Books is a budding publishing outfit that is a subdivision of a company, Yintab Limited, which is incorporated in Kenya and Nigeria. Yintab Books, was hitherto specialized in the production of children’s books. These books are aimed at stimulating the awareness of the African child on the rich cultural values and the environmental make up of the continent. One of Yintab Books major aims is to improve the growth and development of African children.

Yintab Books has now added the biography of an intrepid politician – Raila Odinga. This biography is a blend of two biographies in one: the biography of an enigma in Kenya politics and that of Kenya. On the second objective of the book, that is the biography of Kenya, the book pays attention to the contributions of various leaders towards freedom and the expansion of the democratic space in the Garden of Eden in Africa.

Dr. Babafemi A. Badejo, a Nigerian who lived in Kenya for over a decade, puts together this book that details various individual efforts towards the quest for the freedom by the Kenyan people together. Though he had a different reason for being in Kenya, he became a consummate observer of the Kenyan political reality. This involvement and thorough research resulted in an absorbing volume titled Raila Odinga: An Enigma.

This volume is due to be launched on July 13, 2006.
